The Community Services Unit promotes and provides specialized crime prevention services, products and expertise to support the safety and wellbeing of the populace (public and private) throughout unincorporated Contra Costa County. The unit personnel are responsible for the crime prevention and crime analysis needs of the communities served by the Office of the Sheriff. Central to it's concern is the public interest and building good will. This is achieved by supporting our communities Neighborhood Watch groups, providing publications, training and presentations, crime analysis, event support and a citizen academy.
